Affordable Holiday Look: Featuring The Nudes Palette from Maybelline

The Nudes Palette from Maybelline is not only affordable but very versatile. I used the eyeshadows from the first quad and one eyeshadow from the last quad to create an affordable Holiday look.

Used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha as a base on the lid

Applied the shimmery eggshell shade to the inner 1/3 of the lid

Applied the shimmer brown shade to the outer 2/3 of the lid

Applied the medium brown matte shade to the crease

Applied the taupe shade to the brow bone

Applied the dark brown shade to the outer V

Applied the shimmery eggshell shade to the highest point of the arch

Used the NYX Slide On Waterproof Eye Pencil in Jet Black on the upper lash line

Applied the Sephora Collection Nano Eyeliner in Iced Brown to the lower waterline

Applied Maybelline Great Lash® Real Impact™ Mascara to the upper and lower lashes

Cheeks

Maybelline Master Glaze™ Blush in Plums Up

Lips

Maybelline Color Sensational® Lip Color in Burgundy Beauty

Affordable Smoky Eye: Featuring The Nudes Palette from Maybelline

I plan on getting plenty of use out of The Nudes Palette from Maybelline. A nude eyeshadow palette wouldn’t be complete without the colors to do a smoky eye. Here is a smoky eye look to try. I used the third quad in The Nudes Palette.

Eyes

Used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean as a base to the lid and crease

Applied the dark brown eyeshadow to the crease

Applied the black shadow to the lid

Used the light brown shadow as a blending color and also applied it to the brow bone

Used the shimmering beige shadow under the highest point of the eyebrow arch

Applied NYX Slide On Eye Pencil in Jet Black to the upper and lower lash line as well as the water line

Smudged the black eyeshadow to the lower lash line

Applied Real Impact! Mascara from Maybelline to the upper and lower lashes

Applied Maybelline Master Glaze™ Blush in Plums Up to the cheeks

Applied Maybelline Color Sensational® The Buffs lipstick in Touchable Taupe

Mini Maybelline Haul from Rite Aid

I decided to take advantage of the 40% off Maybelline cosmetics this week. It also helped that I had three Maybelline coupons to use.

I already have my fair share of red lip colors. I saw the Burgundy Beauty Color Sensational® lipstick and decided to get it. This shade is perfect for Fall.

I am already a fan of Maybelline’s mascaras. They are my favorite drug store brand. I wanted to try out the Great Lash® Real Impact™ Mascara just to see how the formula is.

I was on the fence as to whether or not I was going to purchase the Nudes Palette. I already have nude eyeshadow palettes. Was having another palette going to be redundant? This palette being on sale and having a $2.00 off coupon helped in making my decision to purchase this palette.

The total price of this purchase after I used $5.50 in coupons was $9.17 (the price before the 7% sales tax was added).

Mini Maybelline Haul from Rite Aid

What can I say, Maybelline does it again! I never thought I would be a fan of their lipsticks. When Maybelline released the Color Sensational® the Buffs I knew I would purchase at least two lipsticks.

These lipsticks are very pigmented and creamy.

I also purchased the Face Studio Master™ Glaze in Plums Up. I really love this cheek color. The color is very pigmented so a little goes a long way but the color is buildable. Goes on smoothly and blends so nicely.

Maybelline has definitely stepped up their game. I have been really impressed with their lip makeup. These lip colors are very pigmented. Even the Baby Lips had a nice tint to it. Plus the formula on all the lip makeup I tried is very creamy and moisturizing.
