There has been some controversy as of recent regarding the Washington Redskins name. There has also been a push to change the name of this team. Many say the name is offensive to Native Americans. The Mardi Gras colors are:

  • Purple – Represents Justice
  • Green –Represents Faith
  • Gold – Represents Power

Ash Wednesday is always 46 days before Easter. Fat Tuesday is always the day before Ash Wednesday.
