I Survived the 30 Day Squat Challenge

Image

Yes I survived the 30 Day Squat Challenge. Guess what? I am doing this challenge again. I did see results from doing this challenge the first time around. My booty is getting rounder (no I’m not showing you any pictures of that).

ImageThe second half of the 30 Day Squat Challenge really challenged me. LOL! I had to break out the David Morales Ministry of Sound Session Seven just to get through the workout.

ImageI have added the resistance bands to the squat challenge so I can do some upper body. This will add more resistance to the squats too.

ImageI have also added the ankle weights. I alternate days in which I use them.

ImageThe 3lb hand weights I have used to add resistance and incorporate the upper body too.

Wish me luck!

The Body Shop Haul

I had a Groupon I needed to use before it expired. The Groupon was $30 for in-store merchandise at the Body Shop. I will admit I was a little overwhelmed when I entered the Ross Park Mall store. The Body Shop was having a sale. I had no idea what to purchase with my Groupon. Lucky for me Christopher, the sales associate gave me some suggestions.

Nature’s Shea Butter Purchase

Nature’s Shea Butter had a sale offering 30% off any purchase on their website. I don’t need any shea butter at the moment. LOL! I did order a couple of bars of soap though.

Image

Image

When I previously ordered from the Nature’s Shea Butter website, I received two samples of their soap. One of the soap samples was the Handmade Orange Hibiscus Bar Soap. I tried the sample and loved it!

Image

I also purchased a bar of the Handmade African Black Soap with Shea Butter.

Image

This is another sample of their All Natural Soap I received.

Image

I find myself gravitating towards more natural beauty products. My skin is seeing positive results.

Yankee Candle Purchase

Yankee Candle is having their semi-annual clearance sale. YAYYYY!!!! I noticed some of the Samplers® Votive Candles were 75% off. The regular price of the votive candles is $1.99. The clearance sale brought the price down to fifty cents each. I normally don’t splurge on Yankee Candles unless there is a sale.

These are the candles I ordered from the Yankee Candle Website.

Image

  • 6-Honey Blossom
  • 4-Lavendar Vanilla

Image

Image

  • 6-White Gardenia
  • 2-Fluffy Towels
  • 2-Rose
