Super Bowl XLIX Inspired Look: New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have made it to Super Bowl XLIX and there is already controversy. An investigation has shown 11 out of the 12 footballs used in the game against the Indianapolis Colts were under inflated. Under inflated footballs are easier for quarterbacks to grip especially in cold weather. People will be keeping a close eye on the Patriots for Super Bowl XLIX February 1, 2015.

Back for another Super Bowl appearance are the Seattle Seahawks. They had a very impressive win against the Denver Broncos for Super Bowl XLVIII. I’m excited to see the Seahawks play in Super Bowl XLIX on February 1, 2015.

Norwex Review

“Norwex started in 1994 with a cloth, a little water, and bugs on a windshield. From humble beginnings in Norway, focused on “cleaning without chemicals” to the most recent launch of Norwex in Australia, Norwex remains dedicated to their mission of improving quality of life by radically reducing chemicals in our homes.” I had the pleasure of using a few samples from  Norwex. They are the travel size Enviro Cloth, 2014 Dishwashing Liquid, and Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent.

The detergent was enough for one medium size load and definitely lived up to the expectations of making clothes brighter. Our clothes also came out softer and cleaner as well.

One thing I like about the Enviro cloth is its versatility. You can use it dry to dust or use it wet as a cleaning cloth. Using a wet Enviro cloth leaves no streaks when cleaning windows and glass. You don’t need Windex or any type of cleaner. Just water and some elbow grease.

The dish liquid didn’t get very sudsy but still cleaned the dishes fairly well.

Breast Cancer ScoatScoats or stethoscope coats if you will are a fashion accessory to the scrubs that serves two purposes. Not only are they fashionable but they protect your investment by keeping the oils from your neck away from the scope, as well as to keep the tubing from cracking. It also protects it from sunlight if kept in the car as so many people do. It keeps it from drying out. They can also be used as an ice breaker to younger patients. They are machine washable. Different fabrics are used but mostly cotton blends. They are custom made so there are multiple colors and designs to choose from. If you don’t see what you’re looking for just ask and they’ll do their best to provide it for you.

Church Builders Heating the Shelter Fundraising Event and Online Expo

Church builders of Gaffney SC is a non-denominational group that takes in people who are down on their luck, struggling with addiction and helps them know a better path through faith and conviction, by providing Shelter, discipleship, education, and employment. They have currently obtained a new building and are trying to establish all of the code requirements to allow those they assist to move in. They have a huge need here and are willing and able to serve. They function on donations only so please do join our event support our cause all vendors are donating proceeds as well, so everything helps.

A Closer Look: Aromaco Deodorant from Lush Cosmetics

You could not fit in a Lush store during the Holiday season. LOL! I ended up visiting a local Lush store on New Year’s Day. It was just me and two sales associates. 🙂 I was hoping to purchase the Cupcake Fresh Face Mask but they were completely sold out. One of the sales associates was showing me other products I could benefit from. The last thing I was showed was the Aromaco Deodorant. I decided to try a smaller size to see if I would like it.

One of the things the sales associate mentioned was Aromaco can be used right after shaving the armpits. I tested this deodorant for a week. I will say the Aromaco Deodorant really works! I’m only going to sweat but so much in the Winter. I will have to revisit this topic again during the Summer months. Aromaco is a safer alternative especially with all the concerns regarding aluminums in other deodorants/ antiperspirants. I will be purchasing this deodorant again.

Coastal Scents recently had an after Christmas sale. Everything on their website was 40% off. I purchased a few things to add to my Winter survival kit.

Winter Survival Again5I wanted to continue to use black soap to keep my complexion clear. I decided to try the Black Soap with Shea Butter. I wanted a facial soap that would clean and moisturize my skin without drying it out.

Winter Survival Again6Many of the essential oils I wanted were already sold out when I was placing my order. I decided to try the basil essential oil. I plan on adding a few drops of it to the castor oil I’m already using.
