ULTA Haul: Featuring NYX and China Glaze

It’s been a while since I last visited ULTA. One thing for certain I knew I couldn’t walk out of there without buying nail polish. 😉

I’ve read great things about the NYX Butter Gloss and Wonder Pencil.

The Butter Gloss is very pigmented and leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturized. I like the Wonder Pencil because it’s an alternative to using white on my waterline.

I couldn’t resist buying two more China Glaze nail polishes. These colors are perfect for summer.

HauteLook Haul: Featuring Ouidad and NYX

I’ve always been curious about the hair care line Ouidad. I know the line is geared towards people with kinky, curly, and wavy hair. Ouidad has been on HauteLook several times before. I decided to place my order the most recent time Ouidad was on HauteLook.

Normally when I co-wash my hair (using conditioner to wash hair) I will either use Quench Conditioner from Hair Rules or the Coconut Co-Wash from As I Am. With the weather being hot and humid in my area I need to wash my hair more often. I figured now would be a good time to try out the Curl Co-Wash.

Using a leave in conditioner has made a difference in my hair care routine. I also wanted to try the Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner.

It’s always a treat whenever NYX is on HauteLook. This cosmetic is already affordable but I just love the sets that are offered on HauteLook.

The Ultra Peal Mania pigments are very pigmented. I prefer to use pigments with a damp eyeshadow brush though.

A Closer Look: RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Collection 2013 – Heaux Lipstick

MAC released the RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Collection June 18, 2013. The only thing I wanted from this collection was the lipstick in Heaux. This lipstick is described as a matte berry and retailed for $15.00. I previously purchased RiRi Woo from www.maccosmetics.com back in May.

I have always been a fan of Maybelline’s mascaras. They are my favorite drug store brand. The first mascara I ever bought from Maybelline was Great Lash®. I’ve been really pleased with the Volum’ Express line of mascaras Maybelline offers. In the past I have used the Falsies™ and Mega Plush® mascaras.

With only one coat of the Rocket™ I noticed my lashes were fuller and thicker.BeforeAfter

Rite Haul: Featuring Almay

Almay is a cosmetic brand I don’t normally buy. I wanted to take advantage of the $4.00 off coupons I had. Rite Aid had Almay cosmetics buy one get one 50% off. I purchased the Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm.

The Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balms were $5.99. Half off the lip balms came to $2.99. I used four $4.00 off coupons. I ended up spending $1.96 on four lip balms.

The Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balms provide sheer color that wasn’t sticky.

When Macy’s was offering the summer tote bags from Clinique, I couldn’t resist purchasing one. The Summer tote was $34.50 with any Clinique purchase. As my purchase I chose the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.

You had the choice of the Bronze Shimmer or Summer Splash, by picking the palette of either a limited-edition Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad and coordinating lip gloss, High Impact Mascara and moisturizer.

I chose the Summer Splash themed tote bag.
