Been Behaving Myself (when it comes to Crown Brush)

It’s common knowledge that I am always tempted to order from Crown Brush when featured on HauteLook. I have seriously been making the effort to order items I actually need. The brush sets always catch my attention though.

Here is a previous Crown Brush Order I placed on HauteLook.

I needed more of the HD Effect Foundation Primer and HD Effect Under Eye Primer. The foundation primer does help the foundation go on more smoothly and last longer. The under eye primer minimizes fine lines. My under eye concealer doesn’t crease either.

HauteLook Crown Order6.jpgI have used the Make-up Brush Cleaner in the past. It left my brushes cleansed and conditioned. I bought a bigger bottle this time around.

HauteLook Crown Order3.jpgI ordered the Professional Makeup Wipes just to try out.

By the way, Crown Brush is currently on HauteLook. I wonder if my youngest Naomi needs anything. 😉

I Bought Crown Brush for My Youngest

Crown for Naomi

It’s safe to say Crown Brush has a new fan. My youngest Naomi was already familiar with Crown Brush. She has used several of mine. I bough the 12 Piece Pro Brush Set from HauteLook as a belated birthday gift. She also needed a pencil sharpener.

I could barely get close enough to take pictures. LOL! The set includes the most commonly used makeup brushes and fits nicely into her purse. The 12 Piece Pro Brush Set is a great starter set for beginners.

Looks like I’ll have to place another order the next time Crown Brush is on HauteLook. Naomi is extremely happy with this purchase.

Crown Brush Order From HauteLook (something I needed)

Crown Hautelook

Whenever Crown Brush is on HauteLook, I do look to see if there is anything I need. I will admit I almost placed another brush order.

Crown Hautelook2

  • HD Effect Primer
  • HD Effect Under Eye Primer

Crown Hautelook4.jpg

To be honest I really did need primer. The foundation goes on a lot smoother when primer is used. What really surprised me was the HD Effect Under Eye Primer. It minimized my fine lines. It was like I was wearing a really good under eye cream.

I do see myself purchasing both the HD Effect Primer and HD Effect Under Eye Primer again.

By the way, I purchased the Professional Stainless Steel Mixing Plate. It’s good to have another option when mixing makeup.

Crown Set

Crown Set2

I’m not going to say I didn’t need the 10 Piece Blue Syntho Set from Crown Brush. Even my oldest commented on how I have another brush set. I hope she isn’t keeping track of my Crown Brush orders from HauteLook. LOL!  I will say the Oil Control Blotting Paper Trio was definitely a need.

Crown Set 4

Crown Set 5                          It’s hard not to place an order because of the quality and affordability of these brushes.

By the way, Crown Brush is currently on HauteLook again. 😉

Another Crown Brush Purchase from HauteLook

Well you see what had happened was, Crown Brush was on HauteLook again. LOL! I was on the fence if I was going to make another Crown Brush purchase so soon. I decided to get the HauteLook Exclusive 15 Color Foundation Palette and Brush. This deal was too good to pass up.

Crown Brush Purchase from HauteLook (my original obsession)

Hautelook Crown

It has been a while since I last made a Crown Brush purchase from HauteLook. I remember placing orders every time Crown Brush was on HauteLook (BTW Crown Brush is on HauteLook this weekend). What caught my attention this time around was the HauteLook Exclusive 10-Piece Syntho Brush Set for $5.00. I did manage to get a few other things too. LOL!

Hautelook Crown2

I was definitely was in need of a mixing tray.

I’ve owned a few of the angle liner/spoolie brushes in the past. These brushes have gone missing from my room for some strange reason. Hmmm

A few of my concealer brushes have gone missing as well. I guess that is what happens when you have daughters.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It looks like I’m going to have to make room for future Crown Brush purchases from HauteLook. 😉

Warm Weather Beauty Must Haves (so far)

I started off using these products during the Spring and continued into the early part of Summer. It was easy for me to reach for items especially when I was pressed for time.

Warm Weather Must Haves

  • Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist
  • Flat Bronzer Brush – Crown Brush
  • Angled Eyeliner Brush and Spoolie – Crown Brush
  • Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow Pencil – Pearl
  • Lorac Oil-Free Wet/Dry Powder – WD5
  • Maybelline Face Studio Master Glaze – Plums Up
  • NYX Gel Liner and Smudger – Brown
  • MAC Lipstick – Heaux
  • Benefit they’re real! Mascara
  • Maybelline Color Sensational the Buffs Lipstick – Untainted Spice

Warm Weather Lipstick  I liked Heaux lipstick because it was a great way to brighten up my look especially when I didn’t wear a lot of makeup. Untainted Spice is easily a nice everyday lip color.

Warm Weather Face  The Lorac Oil-Free Wet/Dry powder was my go to foundation for when I was rushing in the morning. Depending on the type of coverage I applied dry for more sheer coverage. I applied wet for more coverage spraying the brush with the Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist. I also used the wet/dry makeup as a setting powder whenever I wore liquid foundation. The Flat Bronzer brush made it easy for me to apply the makeup.

Warm Weather Cheeks  The Maybelline Master Glaze blush gave me a nice natural glow. Color really looks great on darker skin tones.

Warm Weather Eyes  Benefit they’re real! Mascara gave me nice long full lashes without needing to wear false eyelashes. I used the Elizabeth Mott shadow pencil in Pearl on my water line to brighten up my eyes. The two of these made a nice combo.

Warm Weather Brows  The NYX Gel eyeliner was an affordable alternative to filling in my eyebrows. The color lasted all day too. I used the angled eyeliner/spoolie brush to fill in my eyebrows.

Pucker Up: Lip Beauty Bag from HauteLook

Image

Here is another reason why I love HauteLook. I can always count on HauteLook to have fantastic beauty deals. The Pucker Up Lip Beauty Bag was too good to pass up. When I originally purchased this lip beauty bag it was being offered for $24.00. I checked HauteLook today and the beauty bag is being offered for $20.00.

Here are the contents of the Pucker Up Lip Beauty Bag:

Lorac and Crown Brush Purchase from HauteLook

Image

To start things off, I was intrigued when I saw the Lorac Oil-Free Wet/Dry Powder makeup. What really got my attention was the price ($3.00 each). Maybe I should’ve purchase three instead of only two of the Lorac Oil-Free Wet/Dry Powder makeup. LOL!

I am very pleased with the coverage of the Lorac Oil-Free Wet/Dry Powder. I applied the makeup with a damp bronzer brush.

It’s no secret I have a weakness whenever Crown Brush is being offered on HauteLook. I couldn’t pass up this cute little set. 🙂
