I combined two separate orders for this post.
Whenever Hair Rules is on HauteLook I make it a point to order something. This is what I ordered.
(L-R) Curly Whip, Daily Cleansing Cream, Quench Conditioner
The Curly Whip is great for my bantu knot outs and twist outs. I’ve tried other products but the Curly Whip seems to work the best.
The Daily Cleansing Cream is sulfate free. I can use this cleansing cream as often as I need without it drying out my hair.
This is currently my favorite conditioner. It detangles great and smells wonderful!
The next item I ordered was theBalm® Nude’tude eyeshadow palette. I’ve had my eye on this palette for a while. I’m glad I made this purchase. The colors are very pigmented.
eye shadow colors (L-R) Sassy, Stubborn, Selfish, Sophisticated, Sexy, Serious
eyeshadow colors (L-R) Snobby, Stand-Offish, Sultry, Seductive, Silly, Sleek

When Macy’s was offering the summer tote bags from Clinique, I couldn’t resist purchasing one. The Summer tote was $34.50 with any Clinique purchase. As my purchase I chose the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.
You had the choice of the Bronze Shimmer or Summer Splash, by picking the palette of either a limited-edition Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad and coordinating lip gloss, High Impact Mascara and moisturizer.
I chose the Summer Splash themed tote bag.

(L-R) French Vanilla, Chambord, Peacock, Dark Denim

I took advantage of the buy get one 50% off on Maybelline the last time I went to Rite Aid. What I purchased is limited edition from the Maybelline Spring/Summer collection.

I recently went to the MAC counter at Nordstrom to pick up a few things I needed.
Pro Longwear Foundation in NC50, Eye Brows in Spiked, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Dark Deep, Lipstick in Impassioned
I chose NC50 for the Pro Longwear Foundation because NW45 was too red on me. Using the Skinfinish Natural offers a nice balance so the NC50 doesn’t look too yellow when I’m wearing this foundation.
The MAC eyebrow pencil is my all time favorite brow pencil. I like the precision the skinny tip offers. Plus the pencil is self-sharpening.
Swatch of Spiked Eye Brow Pencil
I also did some recycling at the MAC counter. I got this lipstick for free since I turned in six empty containers.
This is how all of the products looked on me. 🙂

I actually purchased this kit for my youngest daughter. She wanted to flat iron her hair. I wanted something that would condition her hair really well. The Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Collection 3 Piece Starter Kit smells wonderful. It retails for $24.00 at Sephora.
The Ralph Lauren Big Pony Rollerball Set for women was on sale for $25.00 at Sephora. For that price I figured it was a good way to try out these fragrances.
The last thing I purchased was the Pierre hardy for NARS Collection nail polish set in Vertebra. This collection was inspired by Pierre Hardy’s Summer 2013 shoe collection. The nail polish set retails for $29.00 at Sephora.

I decided to treat myself to Coach this year for Mother’s Day. The only way I can afford Coach is by getting it from the online outlet Website.
Rihanna recently collaborated with MAC and came up with a remixed version of the Ruby Woo lipstick. On May 2, 2013, The RiRi Woo lipstick was available online for $15.00. Needless to say the lipstick sold out in three hours. RiRi Woo will be available again online in June.
RiRi Woo is described as a Retro Matte red. I must say I am so in love with this shade. 🙂 I do recommend applying a lip conditioner first.
