Coastal Scents had an excellent sale to kick off the Holiday Season.
When I saw the shea butter was on sale I made sure to purchase 5lbs of it. Hopefully this amount will last me the entire winter. I refuse to be ashy. Shea butter is what saved my skin last year since it was extremely cold at times. The dry heat from the furnace can easily wreck my skin if I don’t take care of it.
I also purchased another bottle of the liquid black soap. My oldest daughter mainly uses this soap. She is trying to get in the habit of taking better care of her skin.
It is always nice to receive a sample eyeshadow palette as well.

Whenever Crown Brush is on HauteLook, I do look to see if there is anything I need. I will admit I almost placed another brush order.
To be honest I really did need primer. The foundation goes on a lot smoother when primer is used. What really surprised me was the HD Effect Under Eye Primer. It minimized my fine lines. It was like I was wearing a really good under eye cream.

I do see myself purchasing both the HD Effect Primer and HD Effect Under Eye Primer again.
By the way, I purchased the Professional Stainless Steel Mixing Plate. It’s good to have another option when mixing makeup.

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Marketplace Mingle and Cocktail Party from It’s a Natural Thang. Each attendee received samples of Aunt Jackie’s hair products. The Marketplace Mingle gave local vendors the opportunity to sale their products. I was glad to see two of my favorite vendors there.

I’ve seen Morphe Brushes on HauteLook several times. I normally order makeup brushes whenever Crown Brush is on HauteLook.
The Travel Brush Set is really cute. I’m trying not to feel like I’m cheating on Crown Brush though. LOL! The fact the case zips shut is a bonus. I can just throw the brush case in my tote bag and go.
By the way, Morphe Brushes is currently on HauteLook. I’m not sure if I will place another brush order. I will say the eyeshadow palettes are tempting. 😉
